What is CBT?
CBT is based on the concept that your thoughts, feelings, physical sensations and actions are interconnected.
CBT involves working together to identify what is keeping you 'stuck' in unhelpful thinking or behaviour patterns and then agreeing on strategies to change these in order to improve the way you feel and meet your goals.
CBT focuses on your current problems and equips you with tools and techniques to make positive change in your life. These will be practiced both in session and between sessions to help you develop the skills to cope with challenges both now and in the future.
